Our Client is an established Industry Association with its own in-house law firm, and is seeking to appoint a Solicitor to advise on all aspects of industrial and employee relations needs.
You will provide advice to employers on federal and state employment and industrial laws and represent the organisation and employers before various courts and tribunals.
You will also liaise with the Research and Policy Unit in developing a strategic approach to employment and regulatory issues and provide supervision and mentoring to junior Workplace Relations staff.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Practical experience as a practitioner in employment and industrial relations;
- Legal qualifications and ideally an unrestricted practicing certificate, however those not yet admitted to practise may be considered;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
- Demonstrable track record of achievement within industrial and employment law.
The role is located in the Sydney CBD and a competitive salary will be negotiated based upon experience and qualifications.
