- Full time, fixed term VPS 5 opportunity for up to 3 years
An exceptional opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Senior Lawyer/Freedom of Information (FOI) Officer to be a part of the LXRA project.
Reporting to the Director Legal, you will be responsible for managing and responding to all matters relating to FOI requests from internal and external stakeholders, including LXRA's interactions with the FOI Commissioner. The position will also be responsible for assisting the broader Legal team with legal advice and strategies for the development and delivery of LXRA's projects.
Key to your application will be your in-depth knowledge of the FOI Act, proven experience and technical expertise in FOI law, procedure and Victorian Government FOI policy, and demonstrated practical knowledge of Victorian Government processes. You will also have strong negotiation and effective relationship management skills.
