Joining as General Counsel and reporting to the Deputy General Manager, headline the Australian Legal function for a mega international Property Development Company.
What makes this particular in-house role different is the scale and complexity of these multi-billion dollar community-significant projects. Including:
- Master planned communities & inner-city urban precincts (incl. multi-tower residential developments);
- Urban renewal & community redevelopment projects (incl. supermarkets, gyms, retail etc);
- High rise residential towers (400+ apartments) and mixed-use developments.
This Development company currently has five of these major development projects running around the country, with two scheduled to begin shortly. This role is accordingly diverse, fast-paced and continuously interesting.
The Company:
The Company has grown to employ 40,000+ staff operating worldwide. Your role will be to advise on the intricacies of Australian Property & Construction law and how they can be balanced against the needs / business strategy of the company.
They are ideally seeking a Lawyer with 5+ years’ experience from either a similar in-house property development environment or private practice background across property, construction & commercial matters.
