Conditsis Lawyers are one of the Central Coasts’ premier firms and are seeking to appoint a Lawyer to head and grow our Civil Litigation/Probate & Estates practice group.

The work includes a wide variety of civil claims, representing both plaintiffs/applicants as well as defendants/respondents including:

• Insurance litigation
• Contractual disputes
• Estate litigation
• Some common law personal injury litigation (arising out of criminal conduct).
• Real estate litigation

Most matters are in the Supreme Court, but not exclusively so.

As to Probate and Estates, the work includes drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Enduring Guardianships and knowledge of Elder law, as well as Probate and Administration applications in the Supreme Court.

The role involves a large measure of autonomy, with mentoring from senior lawyers available as required.

The ideal candidate will posses the following attributes:

1. At least 4 years PQE experience, including solid civil litigation experience;
2. Specialist accreditation in civil litigation or a desire to obtain it;
3. An ability to work with minimal supervision;
4. An ability to delegate to and mentor junior lawyers;
5. Willingness to contribute to marketing;
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills;
7. Excellent organisational ability;
8. A client-centric approach.
