KBE Human Capital has been briefed to secure an in house Legal Adviser for this leading Australian energy company.
The company services clients throughout Australia and NZ and the successful applicant will be actively involved with all legal work and projects across their client base.
The role sits within the the Retail business and will involve you providing general commercial legal assistance nationally with a particular focus on the WA retail business:
A snapshot of a typical day:
- Negotiating, drafting and advising on gas and electricity supply agreements with retail commercial and industrial customers,
- Reviewing and advising on a range of marketing and promotional materials (new products, customer communications and website content
- Providing advice to the Retail team on its day to day operations including providing advice in relation to competition and consumer law, contract law, privacy law, customer complaints and intellectual property matters
- Instructing and managing external legal advisors
This exciting role offers the opportunity to join this leading energy company who are all about keeping it "fair" and who continue to grow their market share.
We would like to hear from Lawyers 4 -10+ years' PAE, ideally who have either worked within the energy industry or can demonstrate a working knowledge of the Competition and Consumer Act.
