Your new role
You will be working as a lawyer or paralegal in their workers compensation and work injury damages team. You will be in a full-time permanent role in this fast paced and very high performing team. You will be filing legal complaints, offering legal advice, preparing legal documents and representing clients in court. You will secure justice and compensation from insurance companies for injured parties. You will assist a senior solicitor and work closely with another more junior lawyer. This is an immediate start and could either be permanent or temporary depending on your expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience on the plaintiff/applicant working in workers compensation law. You will have excellent legal skills and able to work in a team and autonomously in a very busy practice with a high volume of files. You will have experience in a similar top performing law firm. You must be able to manage your time effectively to ensure you can deal with the high caseload. You will have a hard-working attitude and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
