Our client is a well-known and highly regarded law firm that specialises in personal injury, commercial disputes and property transactions. They are seeking a switched-on and eager to learn Intermediate Legal Secretary to support a Partner and Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
This role will suit a candidate with a minimum of 2 years' legal experience, strong exposure to the litigation process and solid computer skills. An organised, committed and can-do approach will go hand in hand with the mentoring and training offered by the fee-earners in this team.
About the role:
- Diary management and booking appointments;
- Screening incoming calls and taking messages;
- Updating clients;
- Opening and closing files;
- Drafting correspondence;
- Preparing legal documents and briefs;
- Dictation typing;
- Monthly billing and disbursements; and
- Filing, photocopying and general admin.
