Norton Rose Fulbright's Mergers & Acquisitions/Equity Capital Markets group is an award winning practice, recognised as having some of the leading M&A lawyers in Australia working on high profile, market shaping cross-border transactions. Increased demand for our services and has created an opportunity for an Associate to join the Sydney team. 

This is a unique opportunity with a leading international firm that presents exciting potential for career advancement and development opportunities, including exposure to some of the most significant transactions in the Australian market and international clients. There is an exciting protfolio of work across projects, infrastructure and energy and resources work. 

Working with some of the most experienced M&A lawyers in Australia, the key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows;

Responsibilities

  • Work across a range of cross border and domestic M&A transactions
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work closely with Graduates and Summer Clerks within the team
  • Assist with business development and marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • 3-5 years regulated M&A experience gained within a top tier, large international or high end boutique corporate practice.
  • Commercial approach and experience dealing with complex transactions
  • Exceptional client liaison skills
  • Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
