The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Workcover lawyer who can autonomously run files with WorkCover and some TAC claims. The role will involve the initial contact with claimants, gathering the appropriate evidence, providing advice and running the matter through to settlement whether by conference or trial. You will also be involved in the business development of the firm.
Experience
- 2 -5 years' PAE within an injuries litigation environment;
- Solid experience and knowledge in WorkCover;
- Experience in TAC and business development highly regarded;
- Strong client and relationship building skills;
- Strong client service focus and a passion for helping people;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the wider team; and
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
