Our outstanding mid-tier client seeks a lawyer 3 years + due to growth.

You will provide commercial advice to a wide range of employers; private and public sector organisations on variety of matters. This team is known for its collaborative approach and their commitment to achieving the commercial aims of their clients. Work will include IR, strategic workplace relations and human resource issues, terminations and anti-discrimination claims, workplace change, redundancies, investigations, bullying and worker’s compensation claims, EO, OH&S, and negotiation and drafting of individual and collective employment agreements.You will work for truly impressive partners, (some ex-top tier), who are incredible mentors and focussed on career development of their team.

You will need to have strong experience in the preparation of legal documents including applications, affidavits, responses and submissions. You will be a strong negotiator, with experience briefing Counsel and representing clients in all Court and Tribunal jurisdictions and conducting mediations.
We are seeking a strategic thinker who looks ahead to develop plans to address longer term opportunities - you will need to be a big picture person to be successful in this role. You will also be a burgeoning mentor who takes an active interest in beginning to mentor graduate/junior lawyers. You will not be micro-managed in this role you will become a trusted advisor.
