The Role:
Supporting four strong Construction Partners in Sydney you will be able to determine the mix of work (front or backend or a mixed role). It could be that you are too specialized and would rather a broader role that can cater to changes in the economy or maybe you have found your niche and would like to specialize more than your current firm allows. The pipeline across pivotal PPP disputes and a host of renewable projects is allowing for distinct choice in your role.
Front-End:
Front end work includes advising public and private clients on strategic large scale infrastructure projects including feasibility, construction, procurement and maintenance in particular government infrastructure projects.
This includes general contractual & legislative advice, the tendering process, private sector capital & services procurement as well as infrastructure contracts and performance. Your responsibilities will include drafting reports & methodology documents, legislative advice work, tender evaluation, contractual negotiation & legislative compliance/ audit services.
Disputes:
Disputes are in the commercial and construction space on large scale projects Australia wide with an emphasis on negotiations and complex structuring as well as involvement in PI, contractor's risks and project policies/ insurances. Previous matters have involved extensive electronic discovery with complex issues and a large number of witnesses.
Clients:
Clients are in the sectors of a host of renewable energy lines with an emphasis currently in solar and water, public transport infrastructure, construction, IT and education ensuring broad exposure.
The Firm:
