The firm:
This well established Boutique firm boasts a strong commercial litigation team who give broad commercial advice to private companies, high network individuals, insurance and government clients. Be a part of a smaller firm that will allow you to have greater exposure to clients early in your career that you will need to start building your network.
The role:
Growth role is allowing for a junior Lawyer to enter their busy team giving you the opportunity to specialise in commercial disputes. Some of the matters include Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, District Court and Local Court – instructing counsel at trials and appeal hearings, as well as appearances. Act for groups such as multinationals corporates, tertiary education and publically traded companies.
To apply you must have a minimum of 1-3 years PAE with experience across commercial litigation/dispute lines. If you are willing to gain strong exposure from clients early on in your career while having autonomy over your own files then this role will appeal.
Criteria
- 1-3 years PAE.
- LLB with sound academics.
- Strong knowledge of court practice and procedure.
