About the roles
An excellent opportunity exists for a Lawyer to join NAB Commercial Legal team. This team provides legal support and advice in relation to commercial, intellectual property and outsourcing matters across the NAB Group.
The purpose of the Senior Legal Counsel roles is to provide legal advice in relation to all procurement matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts and tenders relating to commercial transactions.
About you
You are a highly motivated individual who strives to consistently provide high quality, commercially relevant, cost effective legal services. In addition, you will have:
- A minimum of 6 years PQE, with experience in providing advice on commercial and/or technology transactions
- A Bachelor of Laws and be admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria (or equivalent jurisdiction) and have a current Practising Certificate
- A pro-active, agile mindset and strong problem solving and influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders
- A team player that has excellent communication, negotiation and drafting skills
- A strong customer focus and the ability to manage work priorities
