About our client
Our client is a national law firm that has experienced unrivalled growth in recent history and ambitions to continue for the foreseeable future, this firm are highly regarded across multiple practice areas. The Sydney office is a modern office located in a very convenient location.
About the role
This firm are now looking for an experienced Professional Indemnity lawyer to take up a unique position within the Insurance practice. This role will be a dual role with 50% working under an experienced Partner who is new to the firm and is looking to grow an Indemnity practice with a focus on Construction disputes and claims. This half of the role would be working closely with this Partner who has excellent contacts and expertise within the building and construction industry.
The other 50% will involve working with a highly established team who have a focus on both Financial Lines and Directors & Officers indemnity matters within a large, collaborative with an admirable flat structure. Within this large team you will be supervised by three Partners who are highly regarded within the firm for the environment and collaborative nature of their team and their high performing record.
Ideally applicants will possess:
- At least 5 years’ experience in defendant insurance or strong litigation experience
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
- Strong academics
- Versatility to be able to work with two teams and multiple Partners
