Business:

Our client is a global supplier of network and security solutions, utility and power solutions. With a formidable reputation and a truly global business, our client has recently expanded their presence in Australia and New Zealand through major acquisitions. As such, they now require a Legal Counsel to be based in their Sydney office, reporting to the Singapore based Senior Legal Counsel. 

Role:  

We are seeking an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer with 6-8 years' PAE. Ideally you will have commenced your career in private practice at a leading law firm and have likely worked in-house for the last few years. The role has a general commercial focus. You will be handling the day to day review, revision and negotiation of sales and purchase agreements across the APAC region. Providing general legal support to the business team means you require outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. With highly developed commercial acumen, you are a results focused and pragmatic in-house lawyer. Excellent computer skills are also a prerequisite.
