Banking and Finance Team

The global finance and projects team is one of the largest teams of finance lawyers in the world.  
 
This high performing Sydney team is made of up of three leading partners, a senior associate and a few other solicitors at varying levels. They have experience across major industry sectors, including, mining and resource, energy, property development, utilities and transport infrastructure.
 
Position Description

This role will see you supporting and working closely with three partners in the team. On offer is mixture of leveraged and corporate acquisition finance, real estate finance and syndicated and club facilities lending and general work in the finance space. 
 
Given the seniority of the role you will be afforded a decent amount of autonomy and responsibility. This will be a client-facing role and will suit a flexible lawyer who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have between 5-10 years’ PQE from another well-regarded finance practice. Australians looking to return home from a stint overseas are encouraged to apply as well as overseas qualified lawyers looking to move to Sydney. 
 
In addition, you will have:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Strong technical skills;
• The ability to establish and maintain high quality relationships with clients; and
• The ability to be team-focused but also work independently.
