About the role

This role provides a high standard of administrative support to two Senior Associates in our Property practice group. As the largest group in the firm, they have a thriving practice which keeps them very busy and we are looking for an experienced, motivated and professional Legal Secretary to help support them. This is a busy role and will see you providing much valued support in the following ways:

  • End to end conveyancing and leasing file management
  • Prepare for settlement including settlement figures
  • Preparing, formatting and editing documents including deeds, leases, agreements and contracts
  • Management of various correspondence
  • Liaising with internal and external clients
  • Conducting searches
  • Diary management
  • Dictaphone typing
  • Billing
  • Filing, both paper and electronically
  • Opening and closing of files
  • General admin/secretarial duties

 

Skills & Experience

Ideally you are a strong administrator with experience in both conveyancing and leasing. The following describes your strengths and attributes:

  • Positive, proactive and motivated nature
  • Pride in service delivery with a can do attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines whilst being calm under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence and good judgement liaising with clients
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in an every changing environment
  • MS office suite experience at an intermediate level

Experience in Affinity and File Site Document Management would be highly regarded but not essential.
