The Managing Partner has delivered an lucrative financial year throughout the firm to prepare for the pursuit strategy they are adopting going into the next. This firm is carving out an excellent approach to the changing legal market in the form of a comprehensive offering to deliver multifaceted skillsets under the one umbrella for the market.
 
Incentivised Move
In particular, the firm have developed a unique referral matrix that encourages and rewards practices to leverage each other, to ensure the best skilled practitioner delivers the advice or representation. Currently the broader Corporate / Commercial group consists of 2 Partners focused predominantly in transport, mining services and industrial so interests in agribusiness and tourism would be an excellent fit but the brief here is open.

Your Practice 
They require another strong Commerical pratner eitehr across transactional M&A and joint ventures or a much broader commercial advisory practice. The  client base is comprehensive across top 1000 ASX, mid tier corproates through to sophisitcated HNWI. The firm would like to appeal to someone that is building/ready to scale. If you require a great multiservice platform to grow through referrals running both ways then this will appeal.

For discussion as part of this scaling process will be your access to equity (early in the process). This is not a structure that holds onto equity as a matter of discretion. There will be a clear conversation and how you best leverage your practice. This firm is currently offering in the top percentile of remuneration and tiered incentive/equity structures at the partner level.
