DIVERSE
While predominantly delivering on insurance disputes, this reputed partner heads up the commercial disputes function at this leading firm. This will see you accessing a wide variety of disputes, spanning complex personal injury, negligence, and liability claims.
DISCRETE / ADR
There will also be contractual and commercial disputes for the public sector and private companies. The nature of the government and government agency client base means that there is often a higher level of ‘public interest’ and close attention given to these matters, necessitating creative and discrete approaches.
PROGRESSION OPTIONS
Beyond keeping you engaged, this variation has other advantageous. It will open doors to a future move into a dedicated commercial litigation role if desired. Plus, by virtue of the wider commercial disputes, there are better margins involved and so packaging can be more lucrative than purist insurance roles. This global firm has some of the more progressive cultural endeavours in the market, which can be discussed.
REQUIREMENTS
2-4 yrs’ PAE in defendant insurance disputes (or combined insurance / commercial disputes) for a reputed firm. Strong academics expected.
