- Previous IP secretarial experience highly advantagous
- Salary to $75,000 package
Our client is a highly regarded national IP firm who are seeking an Intermediate Legal Secretary to assist a team of 4 practitioners. This role will best suit someone who can multi-task, prioritise effectively and enjoys a busy working day. Supporting at this level requires a high degree of professionalism and strong communication skills as well.
About the role:
- Opening and closing files;
- Liaising with clients, Barristers and Solicitors;
- Diary and key-date management;
- Monitoring file timelines;
- Preparing court documents and briefs to Counsel;
- Word processing (inc. dictation typing);
- Preparing documents for conference;
- Organising travel and accommodation;
- Monthly billing; and
- General administration duties.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years' legal experience;
- Strong computer and typing skills;
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude;
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills; and
- Reliable work ethic.
