The Firm 
 
Our client is a national law firm with an excellent reputation is seeking an Legal Assistant with a minimum 2 years’ experience to assist their busy Intellectual Property Team. 
 
The Role
 
Great role for a legal assistant looking to join this highly regarded Intellectual Property team.  You will work closely with a Partner,  Trade Marks Attorney, a Lawyer and Paralegal, your general duties will include:

• extensive billing;
• preparing precedent correspondence;
• trade mark docket entry;
• calendar management; and
• general administrative duties.

Experience

You will have 2+ years’ experience and possess trade mark or corporate/commercial experience within a law firm. You must have a high level of organisational skills and be accustomed to working in a fast paced environment.  
 
You must also demonstrate the following attributes:

• ability to exercise initiative;
• excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties;
• ability to multi-task and manage deadlines;
• excellent attention to detail;
• self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team; and
• excellent technical skills and understanding of software applications.
