What sets the Projects & Real Estate group apart?
Our Canberra Projects & Real Estate team acts in landmark construction and infrastructure projects around the country and in the ACT. You will be responsible for varied legal work which often sets the pace in the market.
The team is a national trading group of professionals recognised for their expertise in cutting edge sustainable developments. We also actively participate in the sector through involvement in the Property Council of Australia, the Green Building Council and the ACT Law Society and have been instrumental in shaping the ACT's planning and environment laws and the ACT and regions development scene.
Our team advise on all facets of projects and the management and resolution of disputes in the building, engineering and resources sectors to deliver cost effective solutions to clients. We act for major contractors, Commonwealth government, prominent property owners and the leading players involved in project/infrastructure financing. It is very important to us how our team works together. We work hard and have fun while delivering cost effective solutions to clients.
What will you bring to the team?
You will have first rate written and oral communication skills, strong drafting experience, top notch legal analysis and an understanding of complex areas of law, and a strong commitment to client service. You have a strong interest in business and industry and you're curious.
You will be innovative, self-aware and have the ability to work well with others; at King & Wood Mallesons it's all about team work, collaboration, development in you and others and making this a great place to work.
