About the role
 
This role will be working for two Partners on a range of primarily insurance matters however with exposure to a wide spectrum of commercial litigation and insolvency matters also. In this role the Associate will primarily be working for an experienced Partner who is looking to expand his team in the next few years and therefore ambition and commercial awareness is a must for applicants. Due to the structure of the team this will also include a high level of client contact.

The caseload will primarily be Professional Indemnity with a financial lines and construction focus however will also involve assisting on a range of liability matters and general commercial litigation that can include insolvency, equity disputes, contracts, property disputes and intellectual property litigation. 

Ideally you will possess:

• At least 3 years post admission experience in Insurance/Commercial Litigation
• Strong communication skills and willingness to carry out a high level of client contact
• An ambition to progress your career within this area of law
• A willingness to work on a diverse caseload
