We conduct work in the areas of Property & Conveyancing, Family Law, Wills & Probate, Criminal Law, Immigration, Litigation, Insurance & Medical Negligence and Bankruptcy.
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a full-time Paralegal/Legal Secretary who has a great work ethic to join our team. The hours for this role are 8:30AM-5:30PM. You must be willing to occasionally work additional hours if required.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a minimum of two years experience as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary;
- Have a strong sense of judgment;
- Have the ability to work autonomously and as a team when required;
- Be a quick learner;
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Have excellent communication skills;
- Have excellent oral skills
Your day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Answering phones and greeting clients;
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail;
- Diary management;
- Filing;
- General administrative duties;
- Preparing briefs and collating legal documents;
- Drafting legal correspondence;
- Research
Experience in Immigration Law and CTP is preferable, however not essential for the right candidate.
