Service Stream are a national service provider to the telecommunications and utilities industries. We specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of new and existing networks on behalf of our blue chip client base.
The Role
Service Stream's Network Construction division are currently seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to assist with the coordination of site planning and community consultation activities. This full time permanent role is based in our Lutwyche office and will report to the SAED Manager and presents a fantastic opportunity for and experienced environmental planner with telecommunications experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of wireless base station planning projects on behalf of Service Stream's clients
- Resolve complex planning issues to ensure base station construction projects can commence in a timely manner
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to the planning team
- Prepare briefs and effectively engage and manage sub-consultants
- Understand the processes relating to other project segments including tenure agreements, site design and site construction
- Maintain a proactive and responsive customer service attitude and maintain a good working relationship with clients
- Ensure all advice, reports, correspondence, applications and consultation materials comply with company quality procedures and those requirements set out by the client
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will have previous Planning experience dealing specifically with wireless base station projects. In addition to your previous experience. We are also seeking strengths in the following competencies:

Effective communication and time management abilities
Strong computer literacy
