About the role and team
We have an opportunity for a Lawyer with 2+ years PQE to join our growing Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Melbourne.
The National team has approximately 8 partners and over 50 employee and the successful canddiate will have the opportunity work closely with partners and other team members.
Duties
In this role, you will work on an array of matters pertaining to commercial litigation and potentially insolvency. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Advising on general commercial litigation.
- Acting for premier local and national corporates, financial institutions, and government departments.
- Work will include shareholder and partnership disputes, corporations law - minority shareholder claims, regulatory litigation, trust disputes and general contractual disputes.
- You may also work on some insolvency litigation.
Skills and experience
- 2-4 years post admission experience.
- Previous experience in commercial litigation preferred.
- Experience in Corporations law and insolvency would be highly regarded.
