The role
As a Debt Recovery Paralegal you will be supporting a Partner and the team running secured mortgage recovery files. Your duties will include drafting Notices of Demand, Statement of Claims, Judgments, pleadings, writs of possession, drafting and collating letters, other legal documents, running and maintaining files, E filing of court documents, liaising with clients and debtors and third parties to progress the files, preparing reports, billings, preparing for settlement including discharge of mortgages and preparing files for eviction and general file management duties.
Your experience
You will have a minimum of 3 years Debt Recovery or Mortgage Recovery Paralegal experience. Running secured files is not necessary.
The firm
National mid tier law firm based in the Brisbane CBD. Total staff is 15. Salary negotiable dependent upon experience (between $65,000 and $85,000 including superannuation).
