The role
 
Our Melbourne office is currently seeking a senior associate to join our leading Workplace Relations and Employment group working across the full range of labour law issues. 
 
You will gain exposure to a range of, often complex, matters including:
  • employment disputes;
  • industrial relations;
  • employment contracts;
  • enterprise bargaining;
  • termination claims;
  • discrimination claims;
  • responding to investigations;
  • acting for unions and employees; and
  • restraint of trade claims

The team are involved in a range of pro bono matters and an interest in being involved in this would be a distinct advantage.


Your skills and experience
 
Ideally you will have at least 5 years PAE, and will be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to pursuing a career in this practice area.
 
The team works predominantly with employees and, whilst you experience may be working with employers, an interest in representing individuals is important.
 
You will possess excellent communication and technical skills, enjoy a busy work environment and be able to work both in a team and autonomously as required.
