The opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a solicitor with at least five years' post admission experience to join our family law team. Working closely with the firm's partners and senior associates, you will have the opportunity to further develop your professional skills and build your own client portfolio in a dynamic and supportive environment. A range of career advancement opportunities exist for the right candidate.
Our team provides a broad range of family law services to clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will be responsible for managing individual client engagements from inception to completion. The position will be full-time with a competitive remuneration package on offer for the successful candidate.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- at least five years' post admission experience gained solely or predominantly in a family law role;
- previous experience representing clients in court proceedings and mediation and instructing legal counsel;
- aspirations for continued career advancement and development;
- a strong client focus and commitment to client service;
- an ability to think laterally and develop innovative solutions to problems;
- well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
- a commitment to team work and developing people;
- an ability to adapt to changing circumstances, deadlines and priorities; and
- a track record of building strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
