The firm
Our client is one of the Australia’s leading law firms. This sought-after employer has received multiple awards and they pride themselves on the quality of their employees. Their clients are both national and international across a wide range of practice areas.
The position
This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Corporate/M&A lawyer to utilise their experience, help grow this team and work closely alongside the Partners in their busy and very successful practice group. You will be providing advice on a rage of matters such as sale processes, acquisitions and disposals, regulated takeovers, demergers, schemes of arrangement, joint ventures, MBOs, cross-border M&A (including both inbound and outbound investment), corporate restructures and reorganisations, capital reductions and share buy-backs.
You
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Senior Associate and have general corporate advisory experience, including M&A. You will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and a passion for client relationships. You will have excellent attention to detail and analytical skills and finally you will have a thirst to develop as this is a role that offers genuine career development.
