The role

• The role involves using our proprietary system to automate legal documents. So it involves distilling the legal drafting process into its logical steps, connecting the pieces into a workflow and then packaging it ready for law firms to use. Try our system and you'll see what we mean.
• We'll teach you how to automate using our technology. Although training will be provided, you do need to be very comfortable with using the more logical/analytical parts of your brain and learning new systems.
• You'll also be keeping our existing documents updated as the law and market practice changes.
• You'll also be expected to share what you're building: that means testing it with lawyers and adapting it, writing educational content, recording tutorial videos and ideally presenting webinars on the nuances of what you've created.

Remuneration and growth

We're seeking Senior Associate level lawyers, and will remunerate according to experience. There is also an employee share plan, allowing you to become an owner in the business.

About you

We want you if:

• You're at the peak of legal practice. This means that you're a master draftsperson, you dive deep into the detail and know your way around Microsoft Word.
• You might be a Senior Associate wanting to automate 90% of your job instead of constantly reinventing the wheel every time you write a document.
• You might be a Knowledge Manager wanting a more dynamic role.
• You're fast with technology and quick to learn new systems. We're not expecting a programmer, but there are bonus points for being a whizz at complex Excel formulas, having built your own website or having another demonstration of your superior abilities with logic.
