Nomos Legal is a dynamic, innovative and fast-paced boutique law firm based in Sydney's CBD. We represent a wide range of clients including large corporations, small businesses and individual visa applicants with complex immigration matters. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality legal advice as well as excellent customer service to our clients.
Due to the continued expansion of our firm, we have a full-time Solicitor position available. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparation of Australian visa and citizenship applications, including applications for:
- Temporary and permanent employer sponsored visas
- Family stream visas
- General skilled migration visas
- Resident return visas
- Drafting of legal submissions particularly in relation to public interest criteria
- Working with Principals on merits and judicial review matters
- Liaising with clients, the Department of Home Affairs and others, as directed
The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and highly motivated, and must possess the following:
- Minimum of 24 months of experience as an Australian immigration lawyer
- Current NSW practising certificate and MARA registration, or eligibility for these
- Experience working closely with a Principal
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
