Who are you?
As an important member of our fast-growing migration firm, you will be fielding new enquiries, advising clients and preparing and managing clients' applications through to finalisation. You may also provide high level administrative, and coordination support to management and other RMAs as required.
We are looking for someone who is capable of independent client-facing work across a range of common visa categories, but with focus on Employer Sponsored migration. Ideally you will have 1-3 years post qualification experience as a legally qualified migration agent. Being a legal practitioner would be helpful but is not a pre-requisite for the role.
What you'll be doing:
Overall reporting to the Head of Migration Practice, you will be working predominantly with another registered Migration Agent/Lawyer to manage your work allocation and day to day activities in a number of areas which include advising clients on migration options and assisting with/skilling-up in migration planning and strategies to manage cases from start to finish. To effectively achieve this will require you to have strong time and file management skills to ensure accurate file notes and records are kept.
You will be assisting the team with VEVO checks for clients to confirm visa/work entitlements, creating and maintaining client files using LEAP Migration Manager, researching migration law and policy, critically reviewing information and documents from clients and file appropriately as well as preparing visa and citizenship applications, related forms and documentary evidence.
As part of your administrative support role, you may also undertake interesting supplementary tasks such as assisting with developing website content and collateral to identify, attract and convert new clients and opportunities.
What we can do for you:
In addition to generous base remuneration, the successful candidate will have access to fully paid CPD/MCLE, mentoring/learning opportunities across each of the Firm's immigration, technology and employment law arms. As a career minded professional, you will have the opportunity to become a central member of a growing team which will support your ultimate growth and advancement in the field of immigration law and practice.
We are a business who firmly believes in:
Honesty and Transparency --> Leadership --> Achieving Excellence --> Dignity and Respect --> Supportive and Passionate --> Having fun along the way!
If you are ready to join a fantastic, supportive, high achieving team, please attach a CV and covering letter in your application.
