The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is looking for Assistant Case Assessment Registrars to conduct conferences and alternative dispute resolution processes. The role assesses cases to determine the most appropriate pathway and provides direction for pre-constitution teams and caseload triage.

The Assistant Case Assessment Registrar also develops case group information resources such as fact sheets and content for interactive guides. The role monitors country information issues and assists with maintaining products and processes as well as contributes to quality improvement processes and projects. 

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate an ability to, and preferably prior experience of, conducting quality alternative dispute resolution and other pre-hearing processes.  Candidates will also demonstrate sound judgement, strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

This vacancy is intended to be filled on a non-ongoing basis for an initial period of up to six months with the possibility of extension of up to three years.

This vacancy may be filled on an ongoing basis within 12 months of advertising.
