About the role...
This is a newly created role, due to continued growth of their business. They are now 
on the lookout for a self-driven, commercially astute & pro-active Litigation Lawyer with around 4-6 years PAE.

In this role you will represent clients in a range of matters including but not limited to:-Commercial and domestic building disputes (mainly defendant);

• Regular appearances at VCAT, pre-hearing conferences, and mediations;
• Security of Payment Act claims;
• Owners corporation disputes; 
• Associated Property & Commercial Disputes.

All under the supervision of a very strong mentoring Partner who has an 'open door' policy and highly collaborative nature.

About you...

• A proven & confident Litigation Lawyer with experience across broad ranging commercial disputes including advocacy across all relevant Court jurisdictions & Tribunals (VCAT) is desired for this role; with some front end experience viewed favourably!
• Sound academics and strong interpersonal/communication skills are critical to the role;
• A relationship builder, with a sound understanding of 'value-adding' and 'leveraging' for future work/business growth; 
• An ability to work fairly autonomously, within this collegiate team, will reap all the benefits a talented, litigation professional would expect to find at any successful law firm.
