Supporting a Partner and a Solicitor in the area of asbestos Litigation, you will need to be a Senior Legal Secretary who can handle a busy role!
Your duties will include:
- Dictation
- Creating, editing and formatting a range of correspondence
- File management – opening, closing and archiving
- Liaising with clients wherever possible on behalf of fee earners
- Relief Reception duties
- Scanning, filing, faxing etc
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to meet the following:
- A minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Legal Secretary
- Dust disease experience will be highly regarded
- Litigation experience is essential
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Dictation experience is essential
- Solid typing ability – minimum 60wpm with high accuracy
- Intermediate - Advanced
- Personable and robust personality, you must not flap under pressure!!
We are seeking candidates who go above and beyond, and appreciate the nature of this area of law. You must be willing to pitch in and assist wherever needed which may include making coffees for clients on occasions!
Please note this is a full time permanent position and you must be available on this basis. Hours are Monday 8am - 5pm, Tuesday - Thursday 08.30 - 5.00, and Fridays 08.30 - 4.30pm.
