The Employment team
Our employment and safety team is passionate about working with organisations to build and maintain sustainable workplaces. The team uses their expertise to assist organisations anticipate, manage and resolve complex issues that arise in their workplaces.
The team uses their breadth of experience to deliver high quality employment and safety solutions to clients across a range of matters including; advising on discrimination and diversity, conducting workplace investigations, workplace surveillance, health and safety prosecution and industrial advice work in connection with corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
The role
We have a new career opportunity for a Senior Associate level employment and workplace relations lawyer to be based in our Sydney office.
In this role, you will work closely with our partners to advise corporate clients, senior executives, SME employers and charitable organisations across a broad spectrum of industries on a range of employment matters, including:
- contract enquiries, award matters
- termination of employment, breach of contract and claims
- advising on EBAs
- adverse action claims
- anti-discrimination and bullying complaints
- workplace investigations
- workplace health and safety matters.
About you
As a SA or equivalent level lawyer, you will have strong technical, as well as client relationship management skills. You will be in contact with a range of blue chip ASX 100 listed clients, charities and not for profit clients as well as high net worth individuals.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior associate level (or equivalent) employment lawyer looking to further develop their skills and work for a leading team. There are excellent opportunities for progression for the successful candidate.
