YOUR ROLE
A great opportunity currently exists in our Brisbane office for an Associate or Senior Associate level lawyer with experience in projects and corporate/commercial transactions within the Energy and Resources sector.
You will work in our industry leading Energy and Resources practice group, acting for our major clients on exciting and often cutting edge projects and transactions in the mining, gas, infrastructure, , electricity, water and other matters.
You will also be involved in mentoring junior lawyers in the group and for the right candidate, this role offers genuine career advancement.
WHAT YOU NEED
We welcome applications from lawyers with:
- experience within energy and resources transactional experience (eg. projects, M&A, joint ventures and operations)
- technical expertise in Queensland energy and resources law
- an ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- a passion for mentoring and training younger lawyers
- drafting skills (agreements and advices) and a commercial approach
You will also be someone who:
- collaborates to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the best outcome is achieved for the client
