The Role

Due to growth, our client are now looking for an exceptional Employment Lawyer at the 2 to 5 year level post admission. You will have a quality academic transcript and have a background working for another top Employment practice where you have received excellent training.

In this role, you will act as a key advisor to organisations who require advice relating to Employment issues pertaining to their business. You will provide industry knowledge in way that clients can understand and be up to speed with the ever-changing regulatory framework that governs this area of practice. Your practice will include working on complex and interesting Employment matters and disputes including:

Workplace Relations;
Employment claims, disputes and grievances;
Industrial Relations;
Work Health and Safety;
Discrimination;
Bullying and Harassment;
Unfair Dismissal;
Workplace Investigations.

This position isn't just a lawyer role but will see you act as a mediator, HR advisor and counsellor to clients that sometimes need that bit more than legal advice. There will also be the opportunity to get stuck in to business development and to present industry seminars and updates.
