The Role
The firm's busy and award winning Property team is now looking for a junior Property Lawyer to at 1 to 2 years' post admission to join their team. Reporting into experienced Partners you will gain exposure to a variety of property matters and liaise effectively and consistently with colleagues and clients.
Your work will be varied including:
- Sales and acquisitions (including conducting due diligence enquiries).
- Commercial/industrial/retail leasing.
- Property Development.
- Aged Care Agreements.
- Drafting various agreements and contracts.
- Keeping up to date with legislative and industry changes.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- 1-2 years PQE working on related Property matters (as per the above).
- Must have a foundation level of knowledge in conveyancing and leasing.
- Superior negotiation and drafting skills.
- Commercially aware.
- Exceptional client service.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to effectively apply the law to the matter.
- Accuracy and a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Optimistic with an openness to embedding themselves in the culture of the firm.
- Strong academics.
