The Role

The firm's busy and award winning Property team is now looking for a junior Property Lawyer to at 1 to 2 years' post admission to join their team. Reporting into experienced Partners you will gain exposure to a variety of property matters and liaise effectively and consistently with colleagues and clients.  
 
Your work will be varied including:

• Sales and acquisitions (including conducting due diligence enquiries).
• Commercial/industrial/retail leasing.
• Property Development.
• Aged Care Agreements.
• Drafting various agreements and contracts.
• Keeping up to date with legislative and industry changes.

 
To be successful in this role you will possess: 

• 1-2 years PQE working on related Property matters (as per the above).
• Must have a foundation level of knowledge in conveyancing and leasing.
• Superior negotiation and drafting skills.
• Commercially aware.
• Exceptional client service.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to effectively apply the law to the matter.
• Accuracy and a high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Optimistic with an openness to embedding themselves in the culture of the firm.
• Strong academics.
