With a national team, the firm’s family law department is well-known throughout the industry for providing quality advice, outcomes and service, headed up by well-respected principals.
Currently, they are seeking a committed, energetic and high performing Personal Assistant with previous experience in Family Law to join their Sydney office.
The Position
This role represents an exciting opportunity for someone to be involved with the growth of the office's development and to therefore be part of the evolution of the practice. You will be joining a dynamic and close-knit team environment, handling a broad range of complex and challenging work for high net worth clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing of files - opening/closing files and filing
- Dictaphone typing and amendments
- Managing diaries
- Drafting basic correspondence
- Preparing disclosure and brief
- Liaising with the principals and clients
- Monthly billing
- General secretarial support
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in Family Law
- Strong time management skills
- Strong administrative background with excellent typing and document drafting skills
- A pro-active ability to maintain high quality work with exceptional attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and organise workload to meet tight deadlines
- Motivation and communication confidence
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
