THE ROLE

• You will be responsible for the end to end management of a large portfolio of financial lines claims
• Coverage analysis, liability and quantum assessment, establishing and monitoring appropriate reserves
• Opportunity to provide technical support and guidance and training to junior members of the team, stakeholders as well as other regional branches.
• Providing ongoing support to various departments and senior management by advising on claims related information, drafting and approving policy wordings and endorsements and undertaking legal and/or claims studies in potential new markets/product areas
• Establish and maintain new and existing relationships with brokers and other stakeholders through market facing activities such as attendance and participation at various presentations and conferences.

YOU

• Strong background in financial lines claims handling or legal work with significant exposure to PI and D&O claims

• Legal qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential – someone looking to move away from private practice and into a senior role within financial services

• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to liaise with institutional clients
• The ability to build solid relationships at all levels both with internal and external stake holders
• Self-driven with the ability to manage your workload to tight deadlines
