Client Details
This prestigious employment law team in Sydney is seeking to hire a highly motivated employment lawyer with 2-5 years’ PAE to join an expanding team on both national and international engagements.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in general employment law, industrial relations, anti-discrimination and work health & safety (on the advisory side).
Description
A newly created opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated employment lawyer to join a developing and growing practice of a global organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advisory work - including general black letter employment law & OH&S
- drafting employment contracts and policies and procedures
- Advising and representing employers in relation to employee claims such as general protection, discrimination and unfair dismissal claims
- Small amount of litigation.
Profile
Key Requirements:
- 2-5 years' PAE gained within a top-tier, mid-tier or boutique employment law firm or an in-house organisation;
- Experience gained in employment law, industrial relations, anti-discrimination and work health & safety;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- A positive and proactive attitude.
