We are pleased to present two part-time opportunities. These opportunities are both located in Canberra and are offered on the basis of a 6-12 month contract, or on a more permanent basis.
One opportunity is for a lawyer with generalist experience, though experience in tenancy law, employment law and information technology law will be highly regarded. Additional experience advising associated organisations will also be highly regarded. As the only lawyer in this non-profit environment, the successful candidate must possess an unrestricted practising certificate and be willing to meet regularly with clients face to face. Parking is free and the employer super contribution is outstanding. This role might suit lawyers drawn to legal aid work, or with experience in the CLC sector. Salary is around $90,000 pro rata plus super.
The other opportunity is an in-house commercial opportunity at a Canberra-based company. Working to a general counsel, the successful candidate will advise on a wide range of matters, including commercial contracts, procurement, property and employment law. The successful candidate will enjoy great mentoring and a really good working environment. Salary is around $100,000 pro rata plus super.
Both of these roles are offered on a part-time basis, between three and four days per week.
