Our client, a large and expanding Commonwealth Government Department, is looking to recruit an EL1 lawyer and an APS 5 or 6 lawyer on the basis of a 12 month non-ongoing contract or permanent transfer, with a strong employment law background.
The successful candidates will provide advice on a range of employment law matters to stakeholders across the Department. At the EL1 level, candidates must also be able to demonstrate highly competent supervision skills.
The successful candidates will possess extensive relevant experience and will be able to provide advice in a timely manner. They will also be highly organised, able to think strategically and on their feet, and possess excellent attention to detail. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
Our client is offering this position on the basis of a 12 month contract or a permanent transfer. The salary range is between $98,000 and $120,000 plus 15.4% superannuation.
To be eligible for this role, you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance with the Australian Government Vetting Agency.
