Our Client
Is a top tier firm who are setting up a new practice group and are looking for a 2-5 PQE lawyer to join their team. The new group will combine Corporate, Commercial, Procurement and Technology lawyers working in both the Public and Private sphere. They have several very high profile partners in the team in Canberra, nationally and internationally.
The Work
They are looking for lawyers who have worked at a leading Firm or in Government across one or more of these areas of law who would be interested in working on a variety of complex, high-value information technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) transactions.
The Clients
They advise some major global clients such as global IT suppliers on complex matters encompassing global outsourcing negotiations and global outsourcings, contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
Locally they represent a large range of major national corporations and government departments who specialise in technology acquisition and transformation.
The team also performs broader commercial legal services, including non-TMT procurement and commercial contracting, such as business process outsourcing, Defence materiel procurement and sustainment.
