Commercial Lawyer position in Sydney with a fun, dynamic and energetic private practice firm.
Your new company
This firm has focused expertise in Corporate and Commercial Law, but also offers clients a full suite of advice across a number of areas. The work covers legal matters from the perspective of both front end prevention and back end dispute resolution. They are approachable, expedient and economically transparent, taking pride themselves on the provision of timely, expert advice that is progressive and comprehensive.
Your new role
This newly created role will see you working with the Partner, assisting in the provision Commercial and Corporate advice to a number of high-profile companies and recognised brands. You will be providing advice on various legal matters, including business structures, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and corporate governance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an energetic and enthusiastic lawyer with 3-5 years PAE, who holds a current Australian Practicing Certificate. It is expected that you are from a commercial or corporate law background. Experience in M&A Law is desirable, but not essential.
This firm is looking for a candidate who is highly engaged at work, client-centric, down-to-earth and willing to work hard to further develop themselves and their ability.
As a senior member of the team you will need to provide positive support to the team, be highly engaged at work, encourage collaboration, and be willing to mentor others.
