OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate with 4-6 years post-admission experience to work within our Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice based in Sydney. This role will see you providing professional advice and representation to clients in a diverse range of industries and sectors.
Working within a highly functioning commercial litigation team, you will have client contact and key responsibility for handling files. You will be working on a range of commercial litigation matters and will be involved in all aspects of managing those matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate who enjoys business development and direct client contact, looking to work alongside talented senior practitioners who are keen to share their knowledge.
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will have a strong academic record, an engaging personality suitable to litigation and dispute resolution, excellent drafting skills in terms of correspondence, advices and court documents and experience in dealing with clients and witnesses for the purpose of taking affidavits and witness statements. Attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
In order to be successful at Macpherson Kelley, you will naturally understand and share our values – talk straight, play as a team and be better each day. You will bring with you excellent interpersonal skills and a client service mentality.
You will have the ability to work autonomously on matters, under the supervision of Principals.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake and satisfy a National Police Records Check.
