Due to an increased period of growth, this private property developer is looking for an experienced Conveyancer / Property Paralegal to join their Legal team.

Located in the CBD, this organisation is at the fore front of high quality projects with a strong brand name. With a down to earth and friendly work culture, this company is looking for a personable and experienced Conveyancer / Property Paralegal to join. 

Role
Supporting an experienced and well regarded Legal Counsel, your day to day responsibilities in this position will include:

• Preparation of due diligence and draft documents associated to the sale and purchase of properties - contracts of sale, settlement statements, vendor's statements, statement of adjustments
• Liaising with parties in preparation for settlement
• Managing and attending the settlements process
• Managing professional and effective working relationships with clients, purchasers, their lawyers, internal staff and other related parties
• Drafting correspondence, memorandums and email communications relating to conveyancing transactions
• Effective file management
• Preparation of client accounts (including time recording and billing)
• Conducting company and property searches
• Supporting the Legal Counsel across complex property transactions 
• General administrative tasks as required

Person
To be in the running to join this small team of enthusiastic and high-performing property professionals, you will need to be a self-starter who thrives in a busy working environment.  You will have solid conveyancing experience and demonstrated involvement with assisting in managing conveyancing files.

Your Mandarin speaking abilities will also be a large advantage in this role.
