Location: Dubbo/Orange/Bathurst
Full Time Maximum Term Contract to 30 June 2021
(37.5 hours per week)
About Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN)
The WNSW PHN is one of 31 Primary Health Networks across Australia established by the Australian Government to support frontline health services. Our focus is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of primary health care, ensuring people receive the right care in the right place at the right time. To achieve this, we work closely with general practice, other health care providers, Local Health Districts, hospitals and the broader community to align services with the health needs of the region.
The Role
The Quality & Development Officer provides oversight of the governance framework for Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN), supports with all legislative requirements, supports WNSW PHN performance objectives, supports the accountability of all operations, and promotes business excellence.
Additionally, this role will ensure effective management of the Quality Management System for the service organisation working with Managers and staff at all levels to ensure WNSW PHN achieves and maintains accreditation and has a culture of continuously improving its policies, procedures and outcomes. The position also assists with building strong organisational capabilities to ensure transparent procurement and commissioning processes, including conflict of interest management, internal audit, and understanding of probity.
